1. Based on the discussions today, give an example of how you, as the owner of a business, might use a 3D aerial image of a place.

2. Give an example of how a government might use such images.

3. On your own, look up examples of the 3 different types of maps we have discussed today. Compare the sizes of the maps, how are they similar, different, and which one do you think is the most/least accuate?

4. Describe the distribution of properties in your own room, use geographic terminology as best as you can.

For example, if I am a tourist company business, I would use a 3D aerial image to introduce our company and the tourist attraction, it is easier to let people know the company location and the general view. Also, we can use the 3D aerial image to mark the famous tourist attractions and tourist roads.

  7. 1. I believe the best option to show the reality of a place is the 3D aerial images because it shows every side of the building. I would like to use 3-4 images to show what it looks like outside and then use 2 images to show the inside structure, which will be all-around if I am showing a building to guests.

    3. As far as I am concerned, Compared with the Mercator projection, the lines in Robinson projection is insects to form squares which have the same size. Between the Mercator and Robinson projections, they both have squares with different sizes. Besides, the Robinson projection is more clear than Mercator. As far as I am concerned, the Robinson projection shows the squares most accurately.

    4. In my bedroom, the window is on the north and the bed is in the middle of the room. There is a door is in the direction which is opposite to window and the wardrobe is next to the door. On the west, the Tv is hanging on the wall.
