  1. 4.Politically, space race eased the tense relationship between the two superpowers. Ideological, this is a space competition between the democratic United States and the Soviet Union. The United States wants to win this competition, want to be the first country to land on the moon, represent the entire planet, and consolidate their social status, This is their strategy and they also succeeded.

  2. 1. The soviet-produced goods were low quality, so people turned to the ridiculously expensive black market to purchase imports from the west,
    not only did the black market take money out of the Soviet economy, it led to a growing division between pool people and rich people. In fact, a huge amount of money was diverted to military spending, So they don’t have enough money to make high-quality products. If they can organize their economic output well, then they can overcome the problem.
