  1. 1.a)Two protest movement that emerged in Canada during the 1960s are Women’s Rights, Civil rights.
b)Since had on Canadian society, the impact of women’s rights is more females than ever were entering the paid workforce, that increase women’s dissatisfaction with the gender gap, and in the workplace. And the impact of Civil Rights is racial discrimination was banned, giving more opportunities to more families and people from different countries, everyone was equal.
    2. Their aims that they want to traditional entertainment and lifestyles, also the values and traditions their parents had embraced. I think in the fashion part they succeeded, for example, the clothes were very popular at that time. The parent values I think are not succeeded for example, until now parents still have their own values.
    3. I think the women benefited most from the Omnibus Bill. For example, it included recognizing the right of women to have access to contraception…This gives women more options.

  2. 1.a The young people created a powerful culture of protest called “youthquake” and a new political named Rhino Party, which grew out of the protest movenment and it was Political protest.
b For youthquake, these young people are the new generations after baby boomer. They bring the new ideas and new clutures for Canada such as “make love, not war”, and they fight for jusitise and civir rights.
For the Rhino Party, people think that their policies are ridiculous although their mock and pubilicities are prefect. Therefore, the other politicians begin to know how to become powerful from Rhino Party’s ideas.
2.Their aims are solving the problems such as womens’ movement, the enviromental movemnet, and Aboriginal nations. I think that they succeed in some ways. People truly to realize that war is not a good thing and we should not support this and also women should have more rights to work outside and do they things what they want to do.
    3. I believe that the women get the most benefits from Omnibus Bill. They have rights to rufuse having a baby for husband and also can divorce more freely. They have more rights to do the things taht they hope to do instead of listening to the husband.

  3. 1. A)Protests in the 1960s. These movements include the civil rights movement, the student movement.
B)The impact of these were significant. People in Canada got more rights during this two movements.
    2. More Canadians protested to demand an end to the unfair treatment of black citizens. Many more protested to demand an end to the war in Vietnam. And many protested to demand full equality for women. … In addition to President Kennedy, two other influential Canadians were murdered during the nineteen sixties. So they should success .what they were do were fighting for themselves.
    3. In Canada one famous omnibus bill became the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1968-69, a 126-page, 120-clause amendment to the Criminal Code passed under the leadership of Pierre Elliot Trudeau who was then Justice Minister in the government of Lester Pearson. This Act changed the law of the land in matters as diverse as homosexuality, prostitution, abortion, gambling, gun control and drunk driving. These people gained from it.

  4. 1.A)There have been civil rights and women ’s rights.
B)In this influence, the Canadian people have gained more rights.
2.Canadians feel that this violates humanitarianism. Ask to end injustice against black citizens. Canadians do not want to fight anymore, so they demand the end of the Vietnam War. Women in Canada feel that people should be equal, so women are required to be equal.
So I think they are successful. At least they are fighting for themselves.
3.I don’t know how to answer this question. But I think it is women who have benefited from it.

  5. 1 a)
The “youth quake”, and the protests about women’s rights.
    b)
For the youth quake it made the teenagers more fashion and open; and the protests make women’s life better like they can now feticide which was illegal before.
    2
For example, Diefenbaker, he makes the social welfare.
    3
I think the citizens benefited most. Because first, people have better welfare then, women have more rights etc.

    2. Many young people of the 1960s and 1970s believed they could change the world. List some of their aims. Do you think they succeeded? Explain.
For example, many young boys had longer hair and for the young girls, they cut their hairs short and wear clothes which is more open than before. They changed the fashion of clothing, and I think it’s kind of success, since they changed many people’s opinion.
3 Which group benefited most from the Omnibus Bill? Support your answer.
I think the women benefited most that they could aborticide and they could choose whether have the baby or not now.

b] The impact of these were significant, people gain a lot from these revolutions

    2. They want to solve problems such as women’s movements, environmental movements, and indigenous peoples. People realize that war is not a good thing, too many innocent people will be hurt, and the world can’t bear it, and women should have more rights to work outside, women and men should be equal, people’s ideas have gradually evolved, I think they are successful in these areas.

    3. This Act changed the law of the land in matters as diverse as homosexuality, prostitution, abortion, gambling, gun control, and drunk driving. These people gained from it, but the group that gets the most benefits is women. They have the respect they deserve, they can no longer be treated unfairly, and they have the right to choose. This is a huge change for women.
